I just saw a depressing and at the same time uplifting television show. It was Oprah's show with Lucy Ling about the effect of the recession. People losing their homes and having to live in shelters, moving to tent camps, living on the streets, moving to their offices. They trail the streets, trying to find some job, close to losing their kids to welfare, etc. Sad, really sad.
Notice the difference between the two pictures? The bottom picture is a holiday tent, sunny, comfy, comfortable. The other is dreary, cold, wet, depressing.
Well, the show has inspired me to look at our own financial situation in more detail and hopefully find a solution soon.
