The next 2 weeks

It's winter school holidays and I am on leave for the next 2 weeks - yeah. But let me tell you - what a mission to make sure all runs smoothly while I'm on leave...
Anyhow, I am now planning how to spend my time. I know that I'll have to stay current with work stuff, so I'll spend one or two hours going over my emails. Then I also want to take the kids to the movies, visit my mom in hospital (small procedure, hope it goes well), and I want to clean and clear clutter at home. This needs an action plan, I think. Well, I'll do that this weekend.

See you soon.

About Me (2)

5) We have 2 kids, they are 10 and 12 years old. And they are fighting like cats and dogs. Not always, though.
6) We have 3 dogs: 1 dachshund, 1 cocker spaniel, and their baby. Cute puppy.
7) We also have 5 parrots: 1x blue-fronted Amazon, 2x ringneck parakeets, 2x Senegal parrots.
8) No other pets.
9) We have been married for 14 and a half years, did I mention that?

About ME...

1) I am almost 39 and dreading turning 40. If I could, I would put it off for a few years yet.
2) I have been married to Faans for 14 and a half years.
3) We have 2 kids. They are now 12 and 10 years old. Teen years, here we come.
4) My husband's 2 kids from a previous marriage are in touch, but we would love to see them more often.

I'll keep adding to the list.

Today, I made my own yogurt. Instructions are available on the internet, here is the like that I used: www.makeyourownyogurt.com. The instructions are long, but only because they are very detailed.
It's very easy to make, all you need is milk, some plain yogurt, some pots and containers and a thermometer (I used my candy thermometer). The process is very easy and took less than 30 minutes.
Next step: find recipes with yogurt.

Signing off for now...
