What does success look like?

How would you define "success"?

Is it money?
Recognition?
Status?
Freedom?
Fame?
Promotion?

And...

How would you measure success?

Houses, cars, holidays, bank balance, jet?
Awards?
Platinum card, title?
Doing what and when you want?
Fan club, followers, "likes"?
CEO, board membership?

But...

What are you willing to do to get there?

Cheat, lie, steal, back stab?

Or will you do the best you can, for all your 'people', all the time?

But more importantly, what will you do when the going gets tough, really tough?

That answer will be an indicator to your chance for REAL success.
And your strength of character.

Are you on the outside, looking in?

Or you are you on the inside, looking out?

When changeing jobs and going to interviews, it is always easy to see what you like to see: greener grass, wonderful opportunities, exciting challenges.
However, when you get there you realise that grass is grass, people are people and politics are politics. Nothing new here. Hopefully you will not get too sucked into the day to day stuff that you forget what made you go there, what excited you in the first place. Be more than they were looking for. Cause ripples.
